Our Vision

Our Vision The vision of the Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN) is to create a society where all disadvantaged individuals, particularly women and children, are healthy, educated, and empowered to live without discrimination. We envision a future where every person, regardless of caste, gender, or socioeconomic status, enjoys their fundamental rights and opportunities to thrive. Our vision is grounded in the belief that true progress is achieved when the most marginalized and vulnerable members of society are uplifted and given the chance to contribute to their communities. We aim to build a society that not only addresses immediate needs but also addresses systemic inequalities, ensuring long-term empowerment and sustainable development for all. In this envisioned future, access to quality education, healthcare, and essential services is universal, eliminating barriers that prevent individuals from realizing their full potential. Women and children, who are often at the forefront of our efforts, are equipped with the tools and opportunities to lead and participate fully in societal development. We aspire to see a community where social justice and equity are not just ideals but lived realities. This involves fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect, where diversity is celebrated and all individuals are valued. We see a world where marginalized communities are active participants in decision-making processes, holding power to account and driving change. Ultimately, our vision is to cultivate a society where dignity, respect, and equal opportunities are the norm, and where every individual, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, can build a future of hope and prosperity.
